Heitinga pulled back Iniesta when he was trying to take a pass from Xavi that would have set him clear. It saved a clear scoring chance, so it was almost certainly a fine foul. Spain didn’t convert the ensuing free kick but with holland down to ten men, Spain ramped up the pressure and Iniesta obtained a goal only minutes before the competition would have gone to a penalty shootout.
Since the tie was the champ on the 3-way line and the 1-0 final meant the game went under the total, the low scoring competition and the added time victory were excellent results for the online sportsbook.
